Come to the Con­s­tance After-work Mar­ket, which offers regio­nal fresh pro­ducts on cozy evenings during sum­mers start­ing on June 18, 2021. Cof­fee and wood sto­ve spe­cial­ties are also offe­red by caterers.

Con­s­tance Christ­mas Market

The Christ­mas Mar­ket is held every year during the Christ­mas sea­son (appro­xi­m­ate­ly from Novem­ber 18th to Decem­ber 22nd), cove­ring the city cen­ter all the way to the port.

The­re are around 150 stands on the mar­ket (regio­nal ven­dors, han­di­crafts, snacks, mull­ed wine stands, etc.)
The Con­s­tance Christ­mas Mar­ket invi­tes guests with thou­sands of roman­tic lights and the Christ­mas ship with 360° Ice Bar. Have yours­elf a cozy litt­le Christmas!

Ope­ning hours:

• From Mon­day to Thurs­day: 11am to 8pm
• (Snack and mull­ed wine are until 9:30pm)
• On Fri­day and Sun­day: 11am to 9:30pm

The Flea Mar­ket Is Back – June 25, 2022

The cross-bor­der 24-hour flea mar­ket in Kon­stanz (Ger­ma­ny) and Kreuz­lin­gen (Switz­er­land) with around 1,000 stands invi­tes you to a won­derful shop­ping spree on the Lake of Con­s­tance on June 25, 2022.

The flea mar­ket offers num­e­rous street musi­ci­ans and small per­for­mers, regio­nal and inter­na­tio­nal deli­ca­ci­es, and the spe­cial atmo­sphe­re on the water. The­re will be a few spe­cial mar­kets again in 2022, for exam­p­le: model rail­ways, crea­ti­ve and han­di­crafts mar­ket, grocer’s mar­ket and record market.

• Kreuz­lin­gen: Satur­day, June 25th, 2022, from 4pm
• On the banks of the Rhi­ne, Win­ter­er­steig, Weber­steig 1 & 2: June 25, 2022, from 6pm

Mar­kets of Vege­ta­bles and Fruits

The famous World Heri­ta­ge Island is in the midd­le of wes­tern Lake Con­s­tance. In addi­ti­on to tou­rism, vege­ta­ble gro­wing is the main source of inco­me on the island. The Rei­chen­au peo­p­le grow toma­toes, cucum­bers, toma­toes, etc. in the fields and green­hou­ses. The­re are many small or lar­ge fine vegetable/fruit stands all over the island.

Ste­fan Rie­be Fish Shop

Ste­fan Riebe’s fish shop is loca­ted on the north side of the Island of Rei­chen­au on the shores of Lake Constance.
The­re is fresh­ly caught Lake Con­s­tance fish of the best qua­li­ty and fine home-made fish deli­ca­ci­es such as pate, fish jel­ly, etc. In the sum­mer, seats are pre­pared for the holi­day guests direct­ly on Lake Constance.
